These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NurseIQ ("the Service"), operated by Barlow & Associates LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in or preparing for a nursing education program to use NurseIQ. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. The Service is intended for use in the United States.
Free tier: Access to limited features including flashcard generation, quiz questions, and one simulation per week. No credit card required.
Pro tier: Full unlimited access to all features including unlimited simulations, patient care plans, AI study plans, exam countdowns, and priority AI generation. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly, per semester, or annually as selected at checkout.
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law. If you experience technical issues preventing use of the Service, contact support@nurseiq.app within 7 days of purchase and we will review your case.

NurseIQ is a study aid designed to help nursing students learn and prepare for examinations. The content generated by NurseIQ, including AI-generated simulations, care plans, and flashcards, is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Clinical decisions in real patient care settings must be made by qualified licensed healthcare professionals using their clinical judgment, current clinical guidelines, and all available patient information. We are not liable for any clinical decisions made based on content from this Service.
The NurseIQ platform, including its design, code, and AI-generated content templates, is owned by Barlow & Associates LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Study content you personally create (flashcards, care plans, uploaded notes) remains your property. By uploading content to NurseIQ, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content to provide the Service to you.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Anthropic (AI), Stripe (payments), Google (authentication), Microsoft Azure (storage), and Resend (email). Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barlow & Associates LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or academic standing, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
